In a very intellectually interactive platform provided by Customs authorities at the IGI customs house New Delhi, the customs interactive workshop was conducted in great success by the United Overseas trademark Company, New Delhi, in partnership with L’Oreal India Pvt Ltd. It was duly attended by a good number of customs officials and personnel who are personally engaged in the customs duties on the ground level.  The workshop was graced by the honorable presence of the Customs Commissioner Mr. V.K.GOEL, the Joint Commissioner Mr. SATINDER MATHURIA, the Additional commissioner, Mr.C.L.Meena, and Joint Commissioner Mr. G.S.Karki. Mr. P.L.Mishra of L’Oreal India Pvt. Ltd on this occasion gave a presentation to explain the intricacies of counterfeit identification in this legal commemoration. Mr.S.K.Bansal of UNITED OVERSEAS TRADEMARK COMPANY who initiated this entire commemorative initiative with L’Oreal India Pvt Ltd., to bring the Industry and customs authorities to a common platform so as to bring a greater harmony and discourage counterfeit crimes as a whole, gave a very crisp informative presentation on the legal and textual aspects of the CUSTOMS-IPR rules and after that followed a detailed session on the identification tips for differentiating the original products from counterfeit products.

The workshop was successful in bringing forth the identification aspects of counterfeit goods in the right manner and it was intercepted successfully by the participating audience.
